The works presented by Myriam Jiménez on this occasion at the Coll Blanc Gallery «Espai Nivi» are offered to us as a Garden, a precise garden, bright, white and carefully crafted, not just any Victorian or Renaissance garden but a Garden of contemporary ceramic sculptures.
This achievement of pieces is the result of a synthesis, a compendium that combines thought, observation and feeling, from a calm and serene point of view that through geometric perspective develops its own language, without forgetting the implication of light and color and dominating the creative flow that runs through the corpus of the work, the white with its many shades and perceptions.
A display of good to do production and personal manufacturing take us into a sensitive and beautiful cosmos that approaches the powerful attraction of nature and our relationship with it.
The relationship between humanity and nature is unbreakable, unavoidable and even infinite point irremediably necessary, since without it life would not exist and therefore humans.
The connections and interactions between these two agents that constitute life itself, are established and ordered from different areas and positions, which the to order everything, that order helps us to generate an affordable starting point to our entelechy, since both nature and the world and the universe are unfathomable and often even incomprehensible.
That common place we call world and that constitutes the matrix that we all inhabit, in addition to a home and a support is the platform from which we develop and proceed with the future that the lifetime.
This is why each one decides their position in front of the world and thanks to the fact that the artists have a very particular and creative approach, they offer us visions and approaches that lead us at a level of understanding and contemplation that brings us closer to the limits and margins where the answers are found, that invisible and impalpable place that sometimes in passing we arrive and that like a fleeting breeze disappears.
We understand these limits and margins as boundaries to make something of nature sized within our reach, not something restricted or restrictive, but the space from where to observe and understand, from where to contemplate and desire something timeless and eternal.
In the case of Myriam, this conjunction with nature is appreciated from the beauty, the sharpness and simplicity that his creations offer us, with the color white and ceramic as common and representative element of his pieces that make up this exhibition «the garden timeless”, this, the garden, is the domestication of nature by the genre human, a syncretism of ideas and sensations that make up a root system and expansive, a combination of space, form and material conjugated to build a a work, a speech, ultimately a reality before everyone.
